Our Vets

Dr Peter Sharp BVMS MRCVS
Director
Having been born and raised in Edinburgh, Peter spread his wings and studied veterinary medicine at Glasgow University, graduating in 1998. This was followed by a nine-year spell of working in the southeast of England, initially in mixed practice for three years, then entirely in small animal practice. In 2007, Peter and his wife, Emma, moved back to Scotland with their children. Peter had been working in small animal practice in Edinburgh for 7 years until the opportunity arose to join his wife at Dundas Veterinary Group.
Peter considers himself a general practitioner with a passion for all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. He especially enjoys cardiology and diagnostic imaging, including echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound. He is interested in any developments where modern technology can be used to aid the diagnosis and treatment of sick animals. When Peter is not working, his time is spent walking the family dogs Luna and Sula, swimming, and occasionally running, with the vague hope of completing a marathon one day.

Dr Rhiannon Moore BVM&S MRCVS
Director
Rhiannon graduated from Edinburgh University Veterinary School in 2008 and spent six years in mixed practice in northeast England. She fell in love with Edinburgh as a vet student and was delighted to have the opportunity to join Dundas Veterinary Group and move back to Scotland with her family.
Rhiannon has a strong interest in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and also has an additional qualification in veterinary acupuncture and was fortunate enough to have trained at Beijing Veterinary School.
In her spare time, Rhiannon loves spending time with her husband, daughter and two sons, along with her ever-increasing extended four-legged family.

Dr William Chadwick BVM BVS MRCVS
Director
Will has been a qualified vet for 11 years but was a zoologist and researcher prior to that. He studied in Edinburgh, then Nottingham, before moving to Newcastle to work as a vet for the PDSA.
Edinburgh had always been where his heart was, so he returned in 2018, where he previously worked at Dundas Vet Group before taking up a management role at a vet practice just out of town.
When he was invited to return to Dundas, he jumped at the opportunity to reunite with many of the old team. Will is known for trying to cycle or run everywhere but enjoys cinema trips and pubs too. One day, he might even manage to win the pub quiz!

Dr Matthew Saunders BVMS, GP CERT (ENDO), MRCVS
Director
A graduate of Edinburgh University in 2006, Matthew has since spent time practising across the UK and overseas in Australia and New Zealand.
Now settled in Edinburgh with his family, he enjoys small animal medicine with a focus on ophthalmology and endoscopy.
Outside work, Matthew is most likely to be found on his bike exploring the East Lothian countryside or helping his children look after their small menagerie of pets.

Dr Emma Sharp BVMS MRCVS
After graduating from Glasgow University in 1998, Emma spent nine years in small animal and equine practice in the south of England. She returned home to Scotland with her family in 2007 and joined Dundas Veterinary Group the following spring, becoming a partner in 2012. Emma has always had a passion for animals and was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by them, ranging from hamsters to horses, and rescuing various dogs and cats along the way!
She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but has a particular interest in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. She also has a keen interest in geriatric medicine and is trained in acupuncture. Outside veterinary life, Emma enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family, which includes their black Labrador, Luna, and Dalmatian, Sula.

Dr Catherine Henderson BVM&S MRCVS
Catherine graduated from the University of Edinburgh School of Veterinary Studies in July 2017. Catherine grew up in the Bahamas with a love of all wildlife, both in and out of the ocean.
She has had dogs around the house for as long as she can remember, so she would consider herself a "dog person" of all sizes and types. Although Scotland is a world apart, she is very glad to call Edinburgh her second home.
She finds all aspects of small animal general practice enjoyable and rewarding, with surgery holding a certain fascination. When out of the clinic (and out of the books!), Catherine can be found strolling the streets of the city, watching movies, playing pool and making pizza with her fiancé.

Dr Claire Gary BVM&S MRCVS
Claire recently graduated from the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, where she loved studying so much that she decided to stay and join Dundas Vet Group! She is originally from the Scottish borders, where she grew up with lots of pets and wildlife around her.
She enjoys the diversity of general practice but does have a special interest in surgery and caring for our older four-legged friends.
When not at work, Claire enjoys playing netball, running, baking and travelling with friends.

Dr Olivia Dishogh BVM&S MRCVS
Originally from the US, Olivia started her journey into veterinary medicine working with rescue organisations in the Middle East, helping with the large local stray populations of cats and dogs.
After moving to the U.K. for university, she qualified from the University of Edinburgh and decided to stay to work in clinical practice.
In her free time, you can usually find Olivia cuddled up with her two cats and that week's ongoing craft project.

Dr Pablo Fantova Ullod MRCVS
Pablo graduated from the University of Zaragoza (Spain), where he grew up in a family of farmers in the north of Spain.
After working surrounded by large animals, he decided to move to Aberdeen in 2019 to try working in a small animal practice, but he always loved the idea of living in Edinburgh, so finally, after some years, he decided to make the move and joined Dundas Veterinary Group.
Outside work, he enjoys travelling, hiking, climbing and any kind of contact with Scottish nature and wildlife.

Dr Scott MacDougall BVM BVS BVMEDSCI MRCVS
Having grown up in the Highlands, Scott graduated from the University of Nottingham and decided to move back to Scotland. After some time working in Fife, he joined Dundas Veterinary Group.
Scott is interested in all areas of veterinary medicine and enjoys the variation general practice brings.
Outside of work, Scott is a keen golfer and spends most of his spare time on the golf course.

Dr Olivia Chan BVM&S MRCVS
Olivia graduated from the University of Edinburgh. Originally from Hong Kong, she moved to Scotland to pursue her veterinary studies and is delighted to now call Edinburgh home.
Olivia enjoys all aspects of small animal general practice and has particular interests in neurology and surgery.
Outside of work, she enjoys painting, playing piano and doing embroidery.

Nina Siriwardena MA VetMB Pgc (Cardio) MRCVS
Nina graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2020 and worked in the East of England for 5 years before moving to Edinburgh to be closer to family, and couldn't love it here more. She has a certificate in Cardiology but enjoys all aspects of general practice, and outside of work she loves walking her spaniel Henry as well as ballet and baking!
